Texas Missions & Promise Home Background
Promise Home was born as a vision in
August 2006. It is quickly becoming a reality,
and we are well underway with this God sized
project. We purchased 145 acres in 2007 which
will eventually become the home for over 200
orphaned and abandoned Honduran children. Once
built, this facility will include 10 casitas,
housing up to 20 children each, a team home that
will accommodate 48 short term missionaries, a
school, a nursery for planting, four missionary
homes for the in-country missionaries, a church,
and a clinic that will minister to the local
communities. |

The objectives of NTM/Promise Home
are:
1. Provide physical and spiritual care to abandoned,
abused and neglected children.
2. Provide the needed training to not only allow each of
the children the ability to be productive, self
sufficient citizens of Honduras, but also tomorrow's
leaders.
3. Create a self-sustaining environment where we are not
completely dependent upon US financial support for the
daily operations.
4. Provide opportunities for individuals to participate
in short-term mission trips, which brings awareness and
assistance internationally and encourages the individual
to take their experiences and become a more mission
oriented Christian leader in their community.
